I was called to be a family history consultant in my church, (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - aka Mormans, lds), a few weeks ago. I am excited!

Being the first church member in my family is wonderful. I have received numerous helps as I have tried to do my duties; especially help in gathering information about my ancestors so they may have proxy work done for them at one of our sacred temples.

Much of that information has been handed to me, or required only minor work on my part to find. My new challenge will be to learn enough to help others with their searching, finding, and preparing to take their ancestors to the temple
